Financing the Path to Clean Energy and a Hydrogen Future: November 17th -19th, 2003
The 16th NREL Industry Growth Forum will be held on November 17 - 19 in Austin, Texas,
at the Hyatt Regency Austin on Town Lake.
This event unites emerging clean energy technology companies from across the country with
our nation's leading clean energy investors. Three days of networking and company
"business case" presentations will promote and enhance the success of new ventures,
emerging businesses, and the growth of entrepreneurship in the clean energy sector.
Participants will include entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, corporate investors, angel
investors, government officials, and energy executives. Attendees will have an opportunity
to network, see the products, and learn about the technologies that will shape the energy
market in future years.
The Forum provides a unique environment for entrepreneurs to meet face-to-face with
venture capitalists, potential partners, and other industry professionals who are
interested and knowledgeable about the clean energy industry.

History
- Created in 1995, the goal of NREL's highly successful Forum is to provide clean
energy companies with expert advice and introductions to the venture capital community.
- This is the largest venture event focused exclusively on companies developing clean
energy products to serve the transportation, hydrogen and energy infrastructure.
- In addition to an impressive mix of early and later stage entrepreneurial clean
energy firms, representatives of the nation's largest and most innovative energy companies
will be in attendance.
- Over 100 financiers, including venture capitalists, angel investors, commercial and
investment bankers, and private lenders attend.
