The Austin Clean Energy Initiative’s Programs

ACE Report

The ACE Initiative is pleased to announce a critical new Report: “Enriching Economy and Environment: Making Central Texas the Center for Clean Energy.” The proposed Report is a narrowly defined research project the purpose of which is to research, analyze, and promote the Austin area’s status and potential as a clean energy technology leader. It will provide stakeholders with the information needed to develop well-informed, long-term policy and business development strategies that appropriately consider the greater Austin area’s singular assets in the business, academic, and civic sectors.

The law firm of Vinson & Elkins is the first organization to commit to funding the Report, pledging $10,000 towards a total funding goal of $50,000. We expect the report to have both national and statewide visibility as an important blueprint for economic prosperity through clean energy industrial development.
